Sister Ammini Kunjachen (78)
(01 January 2026)

Beloved wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother, Sister Ammini Kunjachen (78), wife of Late Mr. K. M. Kunjachen and daughter of the late Mr. Varkey and Mrs. Saramma, was called home to be with our Lord on 01 January 2026 in Ahmedabad.

Affectionately known as Naroda Ammachi, she was deeply loved for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering care for everyone around her. Born in Kerala, she made Ahmedabad her home for the past 58 years, living a life fully devoted to God, her family, and faithful service. Her life reflected quiet strength, steadfast faith, and unconditional love—values that left a lasting imprint on all who knew her.

Sister Ammini leaves behind a precious legacy that continues to inspire us to live a life worthy of our calling in Christ, holding firmly to the blessed hope of a joyful reunion on the eternal shore.

She is survived by her beloved sons Mr. Mathew C. K., Mr. C. K. Varghese, and Mr. Jiji K. Thomas; daughters-in-law Mrs. Grace Mathew, Mrs. Sheeja Varghese, and Mrs. Suni Jiji; and her dearly loved grandchildren Joel & Vini, Joshua, Eben, Eslin, and Keziah.

Though tears may fall and hearts feel sore,
She rests in peace on heaven’s shore.
Her faith has now turned to blessed sight,
Safe in His arms, wrapped in His light.

The funeral service was held on 05 January 2026 at the United Christian Cemetery, Sabarmati.

“Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord… they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.” (Revelation 14:13)
