Sunday School & CEM Anniversary 2025
“He’s Alive” – A Celebration of Faith, Fellowship, and Young Hearts
Held on 21 December 2025

The Sunday School and CEM Anniversary of our church was joyfully celebrated on 21 December 2025, marking a beautiful day of worship, creativity, and thanksgiving under the inspiring theme “He’s Alive.” The program stood as a vibrant testimony of God’s work among our children, youth, and elders, reminding everyone present that Christ is alive and actively at work in our lives and our church.
The celebration began with an opening prayer by Pastor Mathew Thomas, committing the entire program into God’s hands and setting a reverent tone for the evening. This was followed by an introduction and felicitation of the Chief Guest by Bro. Royson Rajan, Sunday School Headmaster, who warmly welcomed everyone and highlighted the importance of nurturing faith from a young age.
The atmosphere was lifted with a heartfelt welcome song, after which Bro. Edward Royson delivered the welcome speech, expressing gratitude to God, the church leadership, teachers, parents, and students who work tirelessly to strengthen the spiritual foundation of the next generation.

Musical worship formed an integral part of the program. A melodious song by Bro. Febi and Sis. Blessy Febi blessed the congregation, while the Beginners’ Choreography, guided by Sis. Memna, brought smiles and joy as young children expressed faith through movement. The Super Seniors’ Medley, led by Sis. Priscilla and team, beautifully blended worship and reflection, drawing appreciation from all.
One of the highlights of the evening was the Junior Skit titled “Jesus is the Only Way to Heaven,” which powerfully communicated the message of salvation with clarity and conviction. This was followed by a soulful Group Song by the Golden Senior Sisters, led by Sis. Annamma, reminding the congregation of God’s faithfulness across generations.
The Super Seniors’ Skit, presented by Bro. Jesteen and group, added depth and spiritual insight, while the Junior Choreography “Made for This” encouraged young believers to recognize their God-given purpose. The Golden Senior Sisters’ Skit, once again led by Sis. Annamma and group, was both meaningful and inspiring, reflecting a lifetime of faith and devotion.
A moving Mime performance by the Intermediates, guided by Bro. Joshua and group, captured the audience’s attention through silent yet powerful storytelling, conveying spiritual truths with creativity and emotion.
The program also recognized and celebrated dedication and excellence. Prize distribution for Sunday School and CEM students encouraged young learners to continue growing in faith and discipline. The Best CEM Member Award and a special felicitation marking 70 years were presented by Bro. Royson Rajan, acknowledging commitment and long-standing service. A Special Appreciation Award was presented to Sis. Nisi Sibi in recognition of her valuable contribution and faithful service.
Adding an element of joy and excitement, a family lucky draw was conducted by Bro. Prinson Chacko, bringing cheer and laughter to the gathering.

The evening was further enriched by the Chief Guest Address by Sis. Anila Mathew, who shared an encouraging and Spirit-filled message aligned with the theme “He’s Alive.” Her words inspired both young and old to walk boldly in faith, anchored in the living Christ.
The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Bro. Ashish Mathew, acknowledging all who contributed to the success of the celebration. A closing song, followed by prayer and benediction by Pastor Mathew Thomas, brought the evening to a peaceful and prayerful close.
The Sunday School and CEM Anniversary 2025 was truly an evening to remember—one that reflected unity, joyful worship, and the vibrant faith of our church family. The theme “He’s Alive” resonated through every song, skit, and testimony, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.

May the Lord continue to bless our Sunday School, CEM, teachers, and students as we grow together in faith, love, and service.
